The Thunderbolt evolved by combining the lightweight Fairlane 500 and with a little "shoehorn engineering" coaxed the big Galaxie's high rise 427 CID V8 into the Fairlane body. The result was the Fairlane Thunderbolt; a 425 horsepower, single purpose, Drag Racing legend. In the end Ford's efforts and expenditures paid off. The 1964 season saw the Thunderbolt take home the World Championship for Top Stock Eliminator!

American Muscle engineers and craftsmen have put in time under the hoods and in the interiors of some of the most notable vehicles of all time in order to offer these diecast cars with the level of authentic detailing to which competitors must take a back seat! Nearly 200 parts go into each limited edition collectible replica model car.
